Kristen and Justin - Post Wedding Shoot

Justin and Kristen were referred to me by the great Cheryl Matias (of Something New by Cheryl - Day of Coordinator) who was one of my past brides. Funny thing is that Kristen and I knew each other as we used to work together at a law firm. Justin and Kristen were married in July and they wanted to do a post wedding shoot with me to try and get a different perspective on things. We hit the downtown Philadelphia area and took photos at Love Park, the Rocky stairs at the Philadelphia Museum, City Hall and Paddy's Pub. I have always loved street photography and gritty photos so it was great to combine that with a couple of snazzy dressers. I can say that shooting in Philadelphia was great. I would never have gotten away with any of our poses had I tried to shoot them in New York City. I was able to lay down in the middle of a busy street (on a median) and shoot the couple with City Hall in the background. If I would have done that in New York I would probably be in jail right now! Anyway Philadelphia, my one gripe is that most people thought the couple had actually gotten married that day, and other than those who had really nice things to say, two people had some discouraging words for the couple. It is not nice to tell a groom he had just committed suicide in front of his bride on their supposed wedding day! That will make a bride cry. I am glad it was not their actual wedding day and that it was a post wedding day shoot. It was kind of funny though. I love Philly.

Larry and Tina

Larry and Tina had both their ceremony and reception at The Primavera Regency. The staff and the food were excellent. Tina was radiant and you could really see how in love she and Larry were. Tina's mom was so sweet and she reminded me of my own Italian family. Too bad little Dookie (the pomeranian) couldn't make it to the festivities!

Peter and Stephanie

Peter and Stephanie were such a beautiful couple and their families were a blast. I have never seen such a swinging party, as their reception at Merrimakers in Sea Bright. I do not think one person remained in their seat. What a great time for everyone. It seemed more like a giant bash than a wedding reception and it kicked off with a song by Kiss. You can't beat that!

Robert and Jialin

Robert and Jialin got married at The Mill in late October. I don't mean to be biased but I will just say it. I love shooting at The Mill. No matter what season it is, the pictures come out great. And the swans! Seeing Robert and Jilian so in love worked perfectly with such beautiful surroundings.

Joseph and Michelle

Joseph and Michelle were married in late October on a beautiful Fall day. I had a great time chatting with the two of them as we got ready for their wedding and I was excited to work with them as Michelle herself is a photographer. Their reception at the Robert B. Meyer Reception Center was a lot of fun and everyone was on their feet thanks to DJ Adam of This Magic Moment.

More Boudoir!

Boudoir photography is my new love. I had a great session with a stunning bride, who shall remain nameless as her photos have yet to be gifted to her betrothed. However, I can tell you that she and I were a dynamic duo while brainstorming for this session and we had a great time. I know her upcoming wedding will be a blast.

David and Elena

David and Elena got married at the Perth Amboy Armory, otherwise known as Seabra's. The outside of the building is rustic and the inside is a beautiful nautical design somewhat reminiscent of The Titanic. We had a lot of fun taking group photos out on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Their reception was quite the party thanks to "Anonymous" the amazing R&B band who performed all evening. Good luck David and Elena!
