Kelly and Jason

Kelly and Jason were married at The Primavera Regency on September 11, 2010. They were wonderful to work with and we had great weather on their wedding day. As always, the staff at Primavera made the day run perfectly smooth. What I remember most from the day is that Kelly and Jason's first dance brought tears to my eyes. These two were truly meant to be together.

Sarah and Michael's Engagement Session

In mid-September Sarah, Michael and I traveled out to the boardwalk in Asbury Park and then Pier Village in Long Branch to shoot their engagement session. I was very excited for this shoot because I love street photography, graffiti and just about anything gritty I can juxtapose against a beautiful couple. I am very happy with the outcome of this shoot and I cannot wait until Sarah and Michael's wedding day next year. Here are a few snippets from our session.

Danielle and Richard

Danielle and Richard were very near and dear to me before we even began shooting, as they canceled with their previously booked photographer upon seeing my work and decided to work with me instead. Therefore, I made sure to put every ounce of my energy into making their photos spectacular on their wedding day (as I do for all of my fabulous clients). Their ceremony and reception took place on August 14, 2010 at the Sterling Gardens in Matawan. It was a pleasure once again to work with the great Reverend Jill Dillner as she presided over their ceremony. Danielle and Richard, as well as their families, were wonderful and extremely laid back. The focus of the day was on them and their happiness together and on just enjoying their perfectly planned party. As a photographer I always love to work with couples who are willing to do anything I ask of them, and that was the case on their wedding day. It was a joy to work with Danielle and Richard.

Justyna and Jonathan

Justyna and Jonathan were married on August 6, 2010 and had a beautiful reception at The Bethwood in Totowa, New Jersey. We began at their church in South Amboy and then traveled to Liberty State Park in Jersey City for their bridal party and family photos. We finally made our way to The Bethwood to cap off the evening. Both of their families were extremely warm and supportive of their union and the reception seemed more like a night out at a great club. I don't believe Justyna or Jonathan sat out one song. Here are a few snippets from their big day.

Ramona and Melecio

Today was Ramona and Melecio's wedding day. Their ceremony and reception were held at Perona Farms in Andover, NJ. The ceremony was very touching, with lots of tears. Their brunch reception was like a huge party, something not typical to your standard day time wedding. This made the day fly by. The Delta girls serenaded the newlyweds and everyone danced to Beyonce, old school hip hop and Michael Jackson. Ramona and Melecio are off to Hawaii and I wish them a beautiful honeymoon.

Shawna and Matthew

Shawna and Matthew were married on June 12, 2010 and held their reception at Masso's in Southern New Jersey. They appeared enthralled with each other and our photo session was very dramatic and emotional, even though we had a simple outdoor scene as our backdrop, just outside their church. After our portrait session, Shawna and Matthew danced the night away at their reception hall, until they drove off in their chocolate and paper streamer covered car at the end of the night.

Lauren and Ken

Lauren and Ken were married on June 11 in Somers Point, NJ. Although there were gorgeous grounds at their reception hall in Somers Point, Lauren and Ken wanted their portrait session to take place on the beach, where they fell in love. Our beach session included the lifeguard station where they shared their first kiss. You can tell the two of them were very much in love and that both sides of the family were thrilled to see them wed.

David and Carolynn

David and Carolynn were married at Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant on May 2, 2010. Their ceremony was an emotional one as the groom's father had recently passed away. David's father was certainly there in spirit and there was not a dry eye in the house during the toast at the reception when tribute was paid. The room was full of love and high energy throughout the night and I felt blessed to be a part of it all.

Jamie and Jay

Jamie, Jay and I had a really fun engagement session several months back so I knew their wedding would be great. The scenery at The Primavera Regency provided a beautiful backdrop for their photos. Very romantic and somewhat Victorian. The reception was very energetic and the photos are proof. Congrats Jamie and Jay!

Randi and James

Randi and James' Photos

Here are images from Randi and James' wedding of March 20, 2010. Both the bride and groom's families were wonderful to work with. I think one of the coolest aspects of the wedding was that Randi made her own wedding gown, shoes and veil. It was very exciting for me to work on the images because I knew that both Randi and I had a love for vintage styles so I was able to bring that theme into my editing. We began shooting at Randi's mom's house while she got ready and before we knew it, the evening was drawing to a close in Belmar. The church was very accommodating by letting me enter the balcony area and we had a perfect day of weather for shooting at the park and the beach in Spring Lake. What a perfect day.

Lee and Jennifer

I kept in touch with Lee and Jennifer from the date I booked their wedding, and everyone who knows them can tell they are so in love. As their wedding day approached I was very excited to work with them because I knew that the photos would come out great due to the close bond they had. Although they were nervous, Jennifer and Lee were both extremely laid back and very easy to work with. Their tight knit family and friends were amazing and they kept the reception lively. This wedding was shot at the Sterling Ballroom in Eatontown, New Jersey on Valentines Day weekend of 2010. Since Lee is a tattoo artist I am waiting to hopefully take photos of him in action one day. :)
